Pete Muldoon has taken a long and unlikely route to becoming a singer/songwriter and performing/recording artist. Though he started playing piano at 5, he drifted away from music during stints in the Army and working around the U.S. in the construction and the service industries. At age 27, he moved west to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and rekindled his passion for music, discovering a love for singing as well as a passion for writing songs.
After years fronting various bands, including Jackson Hole-based Alt/Country favorite Major Zephyr, he began recording his first solo record, "The Descent", in 2017, and released it in summer 2018. It's been compared to a mix of Leonard Cohen, Waylon Jennings and Mark Knopfler in both style and lyricism.
Pete Muldoon is currently finishing his second album and planning a tour around his other job as Mayor of Jackson, WY
